Recently I've been sharing a lot of what I eat over on Instagram stories. Not to provide a comparison between your diet and mine. But to highlight that eating to #GlowWell isn't some kind of prescriptive nutritional plan. But that it's really about committing to a lifestyle of listening to your body.⠀ ⠀ We are the result of how we show up for ourselves every day. How we "hear" our hunger and act accordingly. How we make choices to meet what our whole body craves; physically, mentally, and emotionally. ⠀ ⠀ Don't punish yourself for the times when you picked the experience over the end goal or prioritised pleasure. There is no wagon to fall off here. No "good" and "bad" choices. ⠀ ⠀ Why?⠀ ⠀ Because food is so much more than just fuel.
It's physical nourishment, emotional comfort, a childhood memory, a special moment, a time-honoured tradition, a sacred ritual, a sensory experience.
It's a potent medicine that can rebalance deficiencies and transform our present body into our future form.
Food is a powerful alchemy.
